We are raising money to help support our Volleyball program! The money we raise goes towards specialty equipment, extra gym time, our annual tournament in Rhode Island, Senior Night, Dig Pink (for Cancer research) and our annual team banquet. We work various car washes and bake sales to help raise funds. Please consider helping our team. Any donation amount would be greatly appreciated!

Latest Update

WE DID IT!! We beat #3 ranked St. Joe's in 3 sets to advance to the FCIAC Semi-Finals!! We play #2 seed Trumbull High at 7pm this Thursday, 11/1 at FLHS. #1 Westhill plays #5 Darien right before at 5pm. We hope to see you there!

First Last (Not First? Sign Out)

[Pictured: Laney Constantino & Jess Takami with a great pass at our Staples game]. WHAT AN AMAZING WEEK!! After playing hard against the #1 team in our conference on Monday (St. Joe's) and losing a tight 5-set match, we kept our fight going all week to win 2 must-win games - defeating the #2 team, Westhill, on Wednesday and #6, Staples, on Friday! These wins shot us up in the rankings to #6 in the FCIAC and #10 in the State!! We have 3 more games to finish of regular season: Monday, 10/22: Fairfield Warde (our #1 rival and our Dig Pink game @ home for all three teams starting at 3:30pm), Wed, 10/24 vs. Norwalk (JV/V @NHS starting at 4:30), and Fri, 10/ 26 vs. Wilton (JV/V @WHS starting at 4:30). Hope to see you there!

First Last (Not First? Sign Out)

[Pictured: Jo Blanco and Jackie Soderland with a powerful block!] It was a great week for the Lady Falcons! Three games last week plus a weekend tournament in Rhode Island! We beat Laurelton Hall and Bridgeport Central and ended the week with a 5-set match against Darien (#3 in the FCIACs)! We headed straight to RI for a day-long tournament this past Saturday against highly competitive teams from RI and Mass, finishing 2nd in our pool and losing at the quarter finals. We then got right back at it yesterday (Monday, 10/15) to fight St. Joseph's (#1 in FCIACs) in another 5-set match to lose at the last moment with a 16-14 score! What an exciting game but we were so close to beating the #1 team! More big games this week: Westhill (#2; Wed, 10/17; JV@4pm, Varsity @5:30) and Staples (#7; Friday, 10/19, JV@4:30pm, Varsity@6pm). It's also our Senior Night this Friday - a night to celebrate our Seniors on the team! Hope to see you there!

First Last (Not First? Sign Out)

Good week this week! Varsity and JV beat Trinity Catholic! While Freshmen and JV beat New Canaan in 3 and 2 sets, respectively, Varsity suffered their second loss this season to a very scrappy NC team in 5 sets -- a real nail-biter! We're approaching 3 games this coming week with a 6-2 record (8-2 States). All home games for V & JV: Mon, 10/8 vs. Laurelton Hall (6-4); Wed, 10/10 vs. Bridgeport Central (0-8); Friday 10/12 vs. Darien (7-2 and currently #2 in FCIAC East, one level above FLHS!) - this will be a hot match to watch!! Varsity at 5:30 pm; JV at 4:30 pm and Freshmen (10/12 only vs. Darien) are away starting at 4:00pm. We hope to see you in the stands! Varsity then heads to RI following the Darien game for our annual tournament. Your donations have made this possible, so THANK YOU again for your support!! GO LUDLOWE!!

What an amazing week!! We beat Ridgefield (5-4 record) in 3 sets on Wednesday and powerhouse, Trumbull (#8 in the state; 5-2 record) on Friday, also in 3 super exciting sets! We're holding steady at #4 in the State's LL class with a record of 7-1. Thank you to everyone for your support! Hope to see you at our next game! Six games in and we're #4 in the State (Class LL)! The girls are working so hard, playing 6 days a week including weekend practices! We're playing Ridgefield (#16; 5-3) tonight and Trumbull (#6; 4-1) on Friday. Great matches to come!
