On March 18th at 1pm, we will be rallying at Houdini Plaza on College Avenue in Appleton for the Fox Valley's very first Transgender Rights Rally! There are many costs to be factored into this event, such as the special events permit, reserving the Plaza, ordering wristbands to be distributed, and several other things. Any funds left over after the march will be donated to Goodwill's LGBT Partnership. I chose this organization because they have done so much for the community and for me personally, as I have been going to their Fox Valley meetings for several years now. They put on community events such as Pride Prom and Night of Noise, and provide youth with a forum to talk about their struggles and identities in a safe environment.
Any contributions that are made will be greatly appreciated, no matter how big or small! Even if you are unable to donate, helping to spread the word can make a huge difference!
