Help BBIPOC Get Divorced
I'm a BBIPoC and need $3,000 to have enough for an international family divorce lawyer. I lived in isolation/abuse for 15 years. I sent the money I had to try to divorce in the country we lived, and he refuses because of a loop hole that means I have to wait 2 years to divorce on my own without his permission there. He is forcing me to divorce in the US bc US doesn't have jurisdiction over property in Europe. I need to keep my kids safe and with me. Please help. Thank you.

Thank you so much everyone. I was able to pay for the retainer in FULL thanks to you. Now, I'm trying to raise enough to continue setting up being able to work from home from work I started a long time ago. Any help with that is appreciated, as due to the pandemic with two small children as a single parent and without a car it's impossible for me to work outside the home. Thank you again for all your help.

Hi everyone, Thank you so, so much. I don't have the words to say how grateful I am to everyone that has supported this campaign so far. When I put this out there, I was in a panic thinking how I could raise all this knowing that this person is simply trying to punish me for leaving. I never imagined I would be in this situation 15 years later. I woke up one day, and I finally realized I didn't have to stay. I could not stay because my children deserved better. And so did I. I am still worried, especially for my children, but I am less panicked because I am almost there. You've all helped me raise about $2,100 our of the $3,000. So ONLY $900 to go for the retainer. This campaign will automatically close in 30 days according to Plumbfund rules. Please share if you haven't. Again, thank you, thank you, thank you.
