Personal Update: Unfortunately, I was let go from my job. I have no income or savings, so I need your help more than ever while I try to get back on my feet. I appreciate everyone's love and support and I thank everyone who has donated or promoted this fund so far. Thank you.
Hello everyone, my name is Myia, but on facebook you see my name as Christine. I am a young essential worker that has fallen on hard times, like many of us, during this pandemic. Along with help catching up on past due bills, this fund will help me return to school and pay off my tuition debt.
Last year, my mental and physical health took a significant hit, which led me to dropping out of school late into the fall semester. I was then charged just under $3,000 because I did not complete the semester in good standing. A year has passed since then, and as I'm working toward a happier and healthier outlook on life, I want to pay off this debt and finish the degree that I started. I was majoring in Popular Culture, with a minor in Psychology. I love to study the world as seen through the lens of media and entertainment, and how those affect/are affected by one another.
