My sister Jessica is a single mom to my beautiful 6 year old niece. She is bringing another blessing, a baby boy, into the world at the end of May! She is one of the hardest working people I know. She spent years on a wait list to get into nursing school. Once she was in, she worked full time, as a single mom, and attended school full time. After so much hard work and persistence, she is now an amazing Postpartum nurse, helping Mommas and Daddies bring their little blessings into the world. She will be taking 2 weeks for maternity leave. Since she is a single mom, she doesn't have much choice but to go back to work shortly after her little man is born. I am hoping we can create an opportunity to help her get to stay home for at least a couple more weeks. If nothing else, we can maybe provide a small diaper fund!
