Jillian Crowe (age 49) Mother of one, suffered two widowmaker heart attacks, blocked in the LAD at 99% on May 15, 2015 and on May 16, 2015, with only a 6 % chance of survival at this point she was treated with two stents and sent home, she returned to the hospital once again on May 19, 2015 with more chest pain and labored breathing problems, and 2 more stents were placed in two other arteries that were blocked 80% and 90%. She left the hospital with only 35% of her heart working. Since then she was readmitted August 2, 2015, and had to have another angioplasty for restenosis (scar tissue that grows over the stents (it happens to 5%-15% of heart attack patients and caused blockage at 94%) it needed to be broken up and removed in the LAD, On August 19, 2015, she failed her nuclear stress test and on August 24, 2015 was admitted once again for chest pain and they put in another stent in the widowmaker for more blockage (at 87%). She has many many weeks of Cardio Rehabilation to attend yet and is currently having problems with fluid retention on the heart. Her Co payments alone are approximately $459.00 a month and the Zoll Life Vest she had to wear to keep assure that she would live if she had another heart attack at home was $1,750.59 (copay), 4 operations later at $46,459.35 an operation and hospital bills piling up (because of copays and the things the insurance will not cover) are causing even more stress. Please if you could kindly give even just a little, it would certainly help her as finances are extremely tight, this year has been a very rough one for our family.
