Our dear friend Bonnie just gave birth to her 4th child, her RAINBOW baby.
After the devastating loss of her 3rd child, Dayton, she was blessed to find out she was expecting another baby boy. Landon "Dayton" Gunn was born on July 31st 2015.
Landon truly is the rainbow following the storm of emotions both the loss of a child and medical issues have caused. Being that Bonnie already had 2 children to support getting started with a few set backs has been more than financially taxing.
Many people are struggling to find employment and to stay afloat in today's world, and being a Single mother limits the possibilities and options even more. While seeking employment Bonnie is also juggling a newborn as well as her two older children and while facing the possibility of eviction it makes it near impossible to focus on moving forward and achieving success.
We decided to start this campaign because we too have been single mothers and while we can offer help with the babysitting aspect of things, we simply cannot tackle the financial aspect completely on our own, and in reality I think this is the most important piece. Bonnie is currently seeking employment and any and all job suggestions, leads, and financial support is welcome however if we can all come together and donate even just a few dollars towards this cause we can secure housing stability for Bonnie but most importantly for her children.
We aren't asking for a ton but we do know the power of a community working together, so we do ask that if you too are experiencing a financial setback that at the least you take the time to share Bonnie's story, get the word out there, and help us keep this family together.
