In December of 2021, one of my children disclosed and reported sexual abuse done by their father. Now, he is attempting to take sole custody of all the children away from me. He cannot win.
I need to have a $4,000 retainer for my lawyer by May 4 so I can consult with her and find out what this entire ordeal is going to cost.
I know I have to ask you all for help, yet I sit here, staring at this screen, frozen with pain and anger. I HATE that I have to ask again. I HATE being dragged to court over and over again by this man. I HATE having details of my life laid out in front of people to pass judgement; to decide if they think I deserve anyone’s help, or any kind of justice. I know that every word I write here will be dissected by him and his attorney, and used to portray me in the worst possible light. I am EXHAUSTED and I do not want to do this, but I have no other way.
Thank you to those of you who believe in me and have helped me get this far. I will never give up on my kids, no matter how long it takes or how much it costs. He cannot win.
