Hi I'm a single mom of two great kids. My baby is still in college at this time. I just started my new job in January 2015 and I am not eligible for my companies insurance plan or benefits for six months. Which is not an issue if you do not get sick within those six months . Well I didn't get that lucky! Recently I had to be hospitalized for a week due to lung issues and being ill . Meds , breathing treatments , CT scans, blood work and biopsy procedures are very expensive . And I have additional appointments and Meds that are needed at this time as follow up. I did not have vacation time or sick time so I do not have any compensation for my time off. At this point I have a mountain of medical bills pouring in and no way in sight to pay all of them or to look toward the possibility of filing bankruptcy to avoid collections and garnishment proceedings . I am usually the person trying to help everyone else, if possible , whenever they are in a problem situation. So I am not used to asking for assistance for myself . At this point, I am asking for any donations that will either assist in paying these medical bills and copays or to help with the fees for filing bankruptcy . Anything will help until I am able to get these bills under control. In July my medical benefits will kick in and that will definitely be a blessing so that I may be able to get the medicine and any additional testing done to continue an ongoing treatment plan .
