Dear Plumfund members,
Update 07-21-16: PLEASE HELP US! We were scammed out of $1,250.00 from a listing on Craigslist! We sent the money for the $550.00 deposit and $700.00 rent and we never heard from anyone again!
My stepson , Craig, who is disabled with MS and myself, Debbie, I am also disabled with a broken back!! My sciatic is also pinched and VERY painful; I fell off my bed when I went to sit down and hit the hard oak floor instead!
I landed tailbone-first which pushed my sciatic up and into my vertebrae and broke one of the vertebrae -- my fifth break!
We are now homeless and living in our 2005 Chrysler minivan with our three cats -- we had to have our fourth cat put down as she could not take living in the van! She started going nuts!
Please help us! We only have $25 left for the month to feed us and the cats!! Even $5.00 would be wonderful and greatly appreciated! Please give what you can! Thank you so very much!
.
I'm asking for your help today with moving expenses.
I'm a 51 yr. old disabled man (MS), who uses an electric wheelchair to get around.
My mom is an older woman, (66 yrs. old) who broke her back in five places, is in constant pain, and uses a cane or a wheelchair to get around.
Our lease expires on June 30, 2016, and the homeowners will not extend the lease to a month-by-month basis.
They're selling the house, and they've told us to get a motel room if we can't find a place in time.
Both mom's and my sole sources of income are small Social Security checks, and we simply don't have the money to pay first and last month's rent plus a security deposit on a different home, in addition to the expenses charged by movers.
Can you PLEASE help us?
