Hello. My name is Janet, I am currently expecting my 3rd daughter July 28th, 2017. I work full time, and have continued to work part time a week until I am induced due to hard times financially. My husband currently works 2 jobs. One full time and one part time. He recently started to get his full time jobs paycheck garnished at $300 a month due to unpaid hospital bill that he had to have an emergency colonoscopy done and had ano enlarged polyp removed. We thought our insurance covered it but they did not and we got summoned with a huge bill that we were left unable to pay 300 a month for the bill. I was hoping during my time as a full time employee, I was earning enough PTO time to be comfortable financially during my maternity leave. But I when I recently had a meeting with my Human Resource department they informed me that the previous manager I had put server all people on part time paperwork and kept us on full time illegally. So this entire past year I was working full time, I was not receiving any of my full time benefits and had zero PTO hours reserved for my maternity leave. I'm currently trying to get this situation figured out but my HR department will not help any of the employees affected as it was finalized with a previous manager with out our consent. I am so devastated. My husband is killing himself working so much and I'm about to be off for maternity leave for 3 months with no pay, and nonew of my earned PTO hours I initially thought I had. I am delivering via cesarean and will be incapable the first month to do much but care for my 3 girls here at home. I'm praying for a miracle and I hate to ask for handouts but I am at my wits end trying to figure out how to manage the next few months.
