As some of you know, and many of you do not, Isabella and I have been on a single-income since January of this year. As my husband and I have been separated and he has decided not to contribute to the household, we are left with things just a little tight financially. As I have tried to maintain savings for maternity leave, I know I am coming up a little short. I do believe it is crucial I stay home and bond with my son, and make sure Isabella is adjusting well as a big sister during this time. And though I have been blessed with many amazing benefits from my job at Soda Salon, unfortunately a small business cannot provide paid maternity leave. I have received many generous donations for baby Asher as far as items he needs in his first months, so I am asking- if you feel led, to give any amount in lieu of gifts. All of this money is going towards paying monthly bills while I am without an income. If you do come to the shower and would like to bring something, I would love to fill his library with books, so bring your favorite and feel free to write an encouraging message inside. Although to some, Ashers arrival may seem like a surprise, none of this is a surprise to God.
Faithfully and Thankfully Yours Truly,
Francesca
