Mayday! Mayday!*

My friend S is in the midst of a financial/emotional nightmare caused by an ongoing divorce. He has been unable to see his young son in weeks. In order to get the divorce, he had to hire an attorney, and he asked my help to raise the money.

S quoted me the sum of $4,000, but I am setting a goal of raising $6,000 to help my friend.

Please help relieve the financial/emotional stresses on this hard-working dad. ANY DOLLAR contribution will be appreciated.

Latest Update

I am a little disappointed that I have publicized this campaign on several social media platforms, and e-mailed it to several friends, and still -- contributions are slow in coming. But I will reach out to my several networks... School, military, former coworkers. We *will* raise $6,000 for my friend S.

Well, you may ask, why have I censored the faces of this young child and his dad? I'm trying to protect his identity! Photo from happier times, as they say. Let's share AND contribute to his legal fund to reunite my friend S with his young son.

That's me working on putting this fundraising campaign together Saturday night.... LOL (Actually, I took a series of blacksmithing classes in 2017; photo by P. Burkely, fellow student)
