As most of you know by now, Maryann has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Carcinoma. It has spread from her lungs to her lymph nodes, adrenal glands and brain. On January 17th, Maryann underwent brain surgery to remove some of the tumors that were causing her migraines. She started her radiation treatments on February 7. They will continue for the next 10 days. She will then have a 2 week break before she starts Chemo on March 2nd. It's within this break that we've decided to hold this fundraiser she so desperately needs.
Throughout all this, Maryann has not broken face, she's still as funny as ever and is in such great spirits. She's been handling this with so much strength and grace. She understands this so much that she wanted me to not sugarcoat anything with you guys.
And as I'm sure you all know, she is unable to work at this time and this is when she needs us the most.
