Hurricane Maria has completely devastated Puerto Rico and impacted the entire island. No doubt many of you have considered contributing to one of the relief organizations poised to provide assistance. A few of us thought it would be a good idea to contribute directly to a family in need. Edwin's mother, siblings and their families - all of whom live in Puerto Rico have been severely impacted by the biggest storm to hit Puerto Rico in the past 100 years. In addition to the storm related issues they now face, the family also lost their Padre who passed of a terminal illness just as the storm arrived. The family will need immediate assistance to rebuild their homes and their lives in the aftermath of this devastation and personal tragedy.
We thought it would be a good idea if we could help Edwin's family in some way by providing money they can use as needed. Currently it is impossible to get anything delivered as there is no power or cell service.
We have set a modest goal and would ask you consider any amount you are able to make at this time, it will directly benefit Edwin's family.
We are doing this QUIETLY since Edwin does not expect it, and at the close of this effort we will present Edwin with a check for the total amount collected (minus the credit card processing fee's).
