I need help payiing unpaid medical bills because I didn't havIstal insurance. I was told back in September 2013 that I had white spots or nodules in my lungs. Doctors said it could be lung cancer. I didn't have insurance and I found a clinic that was willing to treat me. I was ordered to have a chest CT scan with contrast in September 2013. I was able to cover the $280.00 for the CT. The doctor then told me I needed a lung biopsy beczuse of the findings on the CT. I couldn't come up with the $3000.00. I was stressing excessively because of not knowing if I had lung cancer. I ended up having to go to Tucson medical center because I had chest pains. I was admitted to the hospital and had lots of tests done. I stayed for three days. I incurred a $17,000 hospital bill and over $4000 in physicians bills and nuclear medicine test while I was an impatient at TMC. I am getting letters from collection agencies for payment. I appled for diasability insurance back in October 2013. My health and the filing for disability have kept me from working and making payments towards medical bills. I just got covered by the affordable care act. I had a lung specialist today and ordered a biopsy. I am greatful that I don't have to worry about the medical expenses for upcoming test. I now ask for help in making payments towards my medical bills fo help lower the stress and focus on my health. Thank you for your time.
