I have lupus and ms. They said I would never live to 50, last Sunday I became 60. I lost 100 pounds over 3 years. However I cant walk well. Medicare says an electric scooters are luxury. I am trapped in my home unless someone is willing to push my wheelchair. They have to drive my car and push me. Lifting a wheelchair is hard. Depression sets in when I have to go days on end only going to stores, they have scooters(sometimes their scooters are out or broken) I dont have money to shop so why go? I have no money other than my $780 disability insurance. My medical bills for meeting my deductible for the year are the rest of my need. If I had the go scooter and lift in my car I could go out like regular people. I need to be independent. I am fighting to keep living. Depression hurts. Please help me.
