To anyone and everyone... PLEASE HELP GREG IF YOU CAN! Greg grew up in a small little town in Northern Mn. and has struggled with Asthma on and off his entire life. Last Tuesday night (Nov. 19th) Greg had a horrible Asthma attack. By Wednesday morning my daughter brought him into the Emergency room. They admitted him to the Hospital right away but throughout the day his diagnoses kept getting progressively worse. It was getting harder and harder for him to breathe. By nightfall our little Hospital in Cambridge, Mn. could do no more for him and they transferred Greg, by Ambulance to Abbot Northwestern in Mpls., Mn. where he was put into a medically induced coma and put on a respirator to breathe for him since he couldn't do it himself. He's been in this state for the past week, and will continue to be for at least another couple weeks. He will then be admitted from the ICU into the 'regular' Hospital for a few more weeks. After he finally gets out of the Hospital he'll need a couple months (at least) of in and out patient therapy to re-learn how to breathe and to just re-learn basic everyday functions (Ie: Eating/Using the restroom/Showering/ Etc...). Greg doesn't have any insurance right now (but we are working on that) and my daughter is only working part-time. With Greg not going to able to work at all for the next few months I'm not sure how they're going to make it. If you or someone you know can donate a few dollars we would be extremely grateful. I am trying to raise money for them for Hospital Bills/Rent/Gas/Bills/Air Purifier/Allergy Testing/Mold Inspections & Other items he will need when he gets home, Etc... I don't really know how to go about this as I have never done anything like this before in my life. I am not one to air my 'Dirty Laundry' or ask anyone for help, but when it comes to my children, I have no pride and will do whatever I can to help them. His Hospital bills alone are going to be astronomical! I just want to help my daughter and Greg and for them to be alright. Please help us with a few dollars and if you cannot that's fine but then please share our story so that Greg can get the help he deserves. Thank-you so much.
