Most of you know Steve Permuy,
my Daddy, as the genuine fun guy,
as a lover of all things, a soulful musician, a spiritual, peaceful man. He is all those and more.
My dad is also a fighter and is currently fighting for his life.
In the past week, many people have expressed a desire give or help him in this battle.
In an effort to ease some of the financial burden on my parents brought on by the out of pocket alternative treatments he is taking for his Stage 4 esophageal cancer as well as the additional therapies and travel expenses, this fund will go directly to my father's care. We are doing everything in our power for him while respecting his wishes. If it feels good to contribute, please do. If it feels good to pray, we love that. If it feels good to post photos or wonderful stories and words of inspiration to share with all, we're truly moved. Any positive vibes being sent are being received with humble gratitude and appreciation.
To everyone that has expressed support and love, we are so grateful for all the prayers and thoughts.
My father is my hero. Anyone who has ever met him can't help but feel the bright light he emits. He is strong in both, spirit and mind, and I BELIEVE he will be strong in body again soon. I believe he will fight this beast and, someday soon, his grand daughter will be able to play with her "Kane" again.
