My father, John combs a retired union carpenter (UBC Local 803) in Orange County for more than 25 years is in need of our support.
In early February after visiting the doctor for severe soreness in his ribs, it was discovered that John has a large growth on his liver. Even though he has insurance he still must pay a significant amount for medical costs. At the moment his insurance rate is so high he has opted to wait until March 1st for his new rate to begin in order to decrease the amount of financial burden for the expected medical costs.
