Antoinette has never met a stranger. She brightens the lives of all she meets with her loving, hopeful soul. She's a former park ranger, dog mama, lover of good food, and woman of unshakable faith. She is also disabled by muscular dystrophy and a domestic violence survivor.
Damage to her teeth and inadequate attempts to fix them, have left her suffering for years with recurring infections. Difficulty eating worsened the muscular dystrophy, too.
Through all of this, Antoinette has remained one of the strongest, kindest, most optimistic people I've ever been blessed to know. I'm so grateful to have her in my life, and hope you all will help me lift her up.
Healing Antoinette will mean first operating to remove teeth and infection. She's scheduled to have that done at the end of December at a cost of $2,000. Once she has recovered from that, she will have implants put in. Because of the fragility of her jaw, the second surgery will be $22k.
Once this is all finished, Antoinette will be able to eat without pain, she'll gain the strength she needs to keep the muscular dystrophy at bay, and she'll smile knowing the love of so many of us is holding her up. Please contribute as you're able and help my sweet friend have the smile and strength she so very much deserves.
NOTE: Use the "Pay Offline" option to mail a check directly to Antoinette Wells. Or, you can pay via the PayPal option, and I will transfer those funds to Antoinette. Thanks!!
