As many of you know, our dear friend, Lisa Slaughter, traveled to Israel in November, 2014. When she returned to the United States, she left a piece of her heart in the Holy Land, and would love to make the journey once again. In June, 2017, Lisa is planning to travel back to Israel on a trip with Israel Initiative! Her dream in the future is to one day live in Jerusalem and do missionary work for the Lord.
To help our sweet sister in Christ, I am asking you to consider helping with the monetary costs associated with the June, 2017 trip. Perhaps, your gift could be in lieu of a birthday gift (her birthday is October 4), a Christmas gift, or just a special anytime gift. I can't think of anything at the present time that would be more meaningful to Lisa, than the financial help to make the trip a reality for her.
On Saturday, 10/1, I am planning to tell her about the fundraiser that has been set up in her name. You can donate any time to it..........
